Released in March 2000, Pantera dedicated their 9th and last album to their fans, filling it with songs about themselves, their journey to stardom and their greatest influences. Despite the four-year break before recording this album, Pantera came back and reminded everyone why they dominated the Heavy Metal scene of the 1990s, reaching # 4 on the Billboard Top 200 with Reinventing The Steel. Like many of their other CDs, this one has a pluralistic appeal with a sound “brutal enough to please underground purists and familiar enough for weekend headbangers” according to Rolling Stone. Tracks to check out include “Goddamn Electric”, “Revolution Is My Name”, “It Makes Them Disappear”.
